Mawella Vocational Training Centre (VTC) is a college dedicated to equipping students with practical vocational skills that prepare them for self-employment and the global labor market. We offer training in a wide range of technical fields, including Carpentry, Business Entrepreneurship, Welding, Electrical Installation, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, Auto Electric, Tailoring & Embroidering, Plumbing and Pipe Fitting,<\/strong> as well as Computer short courses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our History<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Mawella VTC was founded in 1993<\/strong> through the collaborative efforts of the citizens of URU South Ward<\/strong>, Father Christopher Okoth<\/strong> (then priest of Mawella Catholic Church), and Mr. Josef Luelf<\/strong>, a German donor representing the organization \u201cProject Christopher\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The college began with one program \u2013 Carpentry \u2013 and 15 male students.<\/strong> Today, Mawella VTC has expanded to offer nine (9) core programs<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
